Cut plans issued to the station

Today

Cut plans
The supervisor's cut lists — generated from the pending work orders (plus stock lines), trimmed, issued to the cutting station with the cutting diagrams

Cut lists — the pending panels

One list per work-order panel: what the cutting station produces for it per set — closeout and balsa to their exact sizes, bunstock as standard strips (the bench fit-cuts the panel's pieces from them; thermocol is not cut at the station). Prefilled from the drawing, corrected to stock lengths and joins. A size reaches the station only on an issued cut plan (+ New cut plan, above). The bench starts a panel once its closeout and balsa are cut and enough bunstock strips are there — cut for the panel or in stock — or the line is marked Cut — cart sent here.

Raw material input sizes (W × L × thk)

The size each material comes in from the store or the press — the cut plan nests its pieces into these and shows where each piece comes out of, to waste as little as possible; the cutter's yield is read against it. Several sizes per material when the store carries several. For bunstock: the block from the press, and the standard strip it is sliced into.
